Sometimes no matter how careful you are with your sun care routine you can still get sunburnt. Use a formula that has aloe or menthol as this will soothe and cool down your skin. You can also try gels with lidocaine, a topical anaesthetic to help ease the pain.
Make sure once your skin has recovered to moisturize regularly with a fragrance-free moisturizer. This will help avoid your skin from flaking, as sun damage can dry out your skin.
