After shampooing and conditioning your hair, comb your hair with a wide toothed comb to remove any tangles.

Partially dry your hair with a hairdryer, run your fingers through your hair whilst drying it. This will help remove excess moisture.

Apply a handful of mousse onto your hand and using the other hand, spread the mousse throughout your hair. Try to distribute it evenly from the tips to the end.
Divide your hair into two main sections by clipping the top and sides out the way. Work of the hair that is left free and taking one small section at a time, hold the dryer in one hand and a large round brush in the other hand. Place the brush underneath the first section of hair, positioning it at the roots. Keep the tension on the hair, taut and move the brush down towards the ends, direct the airflow from the dryer so that it follows the downward movement of the brush.

Start styling your hair. For more bounce, curve the brush at the end of the roots. Repeat this to your hair for the entire first section, until it is completely dry.

Release a section of hair from the top and dry it in the same manner. Continue in this way until you have dried all your hair. Finish by smoothing a few drops of serum through the hair to flatten any flyaway ends.

And there you have it, a professional salon blow-dry done at home!
